1.5V

What is a 1.5v Battery?

A classic nominal voltage, most AA, AAA, C, & D cells are 1.5 volts, and many household and handheld devices have been built to use that voltage. The first zinc-carbon dry cells naturally produced 1.5 volts of energy, and has remained the standard ever since.

Are 1.5v batteries rechargeable?

While we do carry a handful of li-ion and li-poly 1.5v batteries, a vast majority are alkaline, zinc, or lithium non-rechargeable and meant to be disposable after one use. Most rechargeable batteries have 1.2v, 3.6/7v, 7.2/4v, or higher voltages.

What sizes of 1.5v battery do you carry?

We carry over 17 sizes of 1.5v batteries, including common sizes such as AA, AAA, C, D, LR44, and AAAA.

Do you offer bulk pricing?

Yes, we offer tiered pricing for most of our batteries, letting you save more when you stock up and buy in bulk. Most 1.5 volt batteries are single-use disposable, so we suggest buying in bulk for longterm affordability.
