Special Chemistry

The L91 cells use a unique Lithium Iron Disulfide (LiFeS₂) chemistry to provide greater power and dependability compared to even other Lithium batteries. Capable of functioning in both extremely high and low temperatures, the L91s are much more reliable than regular primary batteries. Their higher operating current and flatter discharge curve allow the cells to achieve better performance and longer runtimes. The chemistry even makes the batteries intrinsically safer, providing greater leak resistance and replacing the need for unstable chemicals such as lead or mercury.
