The Cyalume Coast Guard Single Light Stick Green Personnel Marker is a high visibility rescue light which glows for 8 hours after activation. The light stick is mounted on a heavy-duty clip which can be affixed to clothing, personal floatation devices, and other items to act as a personal locator beacon easily seen from afar by rescue operators. Personnel Marker Lights (PMLs) have a four-year shelf life, making them ideal to store onboard a vessel and on life jackets for emergency situations. PML light sticks are approved by the US Coast Guard for rescue extractions and offshore safety as they are observable up to a mile away by ships and 3 miles by aircraft.
