LEP / Laser Lights
What is an LEP Light?
LEP stands for Laser Excited Phosphor. The light has a blue laser that emits through a focused lens and hits a phosphor-coated metal substrate which is then reflected back and converts the beam into a broad-spectrum light. This series of lasers, lenses, and reflectors produces an incredibly tight spot and far throwing beam. LEP lights, also known as White Laser flashlights or LEP flashlights, have several calling card features including astonishingly far-throwing beams for either tactical or search and rescue purposes. LEP flashlights have varying lumen outputs and come in several different classifications for recreational use.
