I bought this just for the push button end cap to replace an earlier version that quit. Just like the old one, this one's spring is too short and had to be stretched to make contact with the battery. Once done it works just fine.

I switched two small Mag-Light flashlights with these kits and they both work pretty well. Maybe I'm just being picky, but if you screw the lense cap on tight the flashlight doesn't work.
