The Underwater Kinetics 916 UltraCase is a watertight equipment case with an impressive amount of storage space. This hard plastic briefcase is eight inches deep and can, therefore, provide excellent protection for your expensive supplies and instruments. The same ABS plastic case is also strong enough to satisfy the needs of military professionals. The outer shell of the 916 UltraCase is injection-molded ABS, which can withstand a fall from seven feet. Built-in pressure valves are also included in the design of this case, which equalize the pressure both when opening and closing the lid. The lid itself is kept closed using two ABS latches that create a secure bond. Underwater Kinetics put the UltraCase through an extensive amount of tests and even found that this hard plastic case won't fly open in the air if tossed or dropped from six feet up. How many have other equipment cases passed such a test? As an added bonus, the Underwater Kinetics 916 UltraCase is water resistant and is able to be submerged up to 3 feet (1 meter).
Optional Add-on Foam or Panel Ring
The UK 916 UltraCase is sold with or without foam inserts, which gives you the choice of how you would like to pack your equipment. We recommend utilizing the pluck foam inserts if your items are more delicate or are smaller in size. The 916 UltraCase equipment case is also available for sale with an internal panel ring along the rim of the case. This gives you the ability to turn your hard plastic case into an electronic equipment by simply installing an instrument panel within the ring. The optional panel ring features brass threaded inserts (8-32) into which a rigid instrument panel may be inserted. Not quite sure what size you need? No problem.
