The Leatherman Skeletool has been re-vamped again with the addition of the RX model. This full-size multi-tool offers seven different tools designed specifically for use by first responders and search-and-rescue personnel. The large bit driver, for example, features a Carbide glass breaking tip. This will enable users with the ability to easily get in or out of a vehicle quickly. The Leatherman Skeletool RX also includes a uniquely serrated blade. The knife features grooves of varying depths, which make it easier for first responders to cut through clothing and other fibrous materials. The blade itself is also made from 154CM stainless steel, which keeps its edge three times longer than 420 stainless steel. The Skeletool RX rescue tool also includes an assortment of standard supplies, including both needle-noose and regular-sized pliers. The emergency multi-tool also includes hard-wire and standard wire cutters as well as a dual-purpose carabiner/bottle opener. The Leatherman Skeletool RX features a folding design, which collapses the gadget into a four-inch-long pocket-sized tool for effortless storage. The rescue tool also features a Cerakote™ handle for a more durable and longer-laster design, in a bright orange package.
