Wrapped with an ABS Plastic, hard outer shell, this SLA battery is safe and dependable to use.

AGM Technology

Unlike Gel or Flooded models, AGM SLA batteries innovate the way we store electricity for higher efficiency, safety, and performance.

In an effort to improve battery performance, Power-Sonic designed their 12-volt SLA batteries using AGM technology, a non-loose liquid approach. Rather than flood the battery, a thin fiberglass plate is soaked in battery acid and tucked snuggly between thick battery plates inside the battery. This improves the overall current, and reduces heat in the battery with less free flowing liquid. Less heat means that all the available electricity in the battery is being used to power the forklift, solar panel, or cabin that it was connected to, rather than losing power over time. Safer and more efficient, AGM technology shines bright.
