Multiple Light Sources
Streamlight manufactures lights for law enforcement so you can expect the level of quality that comes with such a demanding position. The SL-20XP LED is truly a light for professionals - ideal for use by law enforcement, fire and rescue, security, automotive work, and a variety of jobs around the house. The push button barrel switch gives you the unique ability to alternate between the halogen bulb and White LED light sources. The SL-20XP LED's halogen bulb puts out 120 Lumens for an hour and a half of continuous use while the LEDs put out 20 Lumens for 11 and a half hours of continuous use. Also included is Streamlight's own Power Failure feature; simply place the SL-20XP LED in the charger on the 'On' position and if the charger suddenly loses power, the light will automatically turn on to provide easy location and safety in a sudden power outage or other emergency situations.
Durable Design
The SL-20XP LED can withstand the elements of demanding work environments and weather conditions. The case is made of lightweight, super tough nylon polymer and the polycarbonate lens is virtually unbreakable (and O-ring sealed). The SL-20XP LED has an IPX4 water resistance rating so rain and heavy splashing will not harm it, and an impact resistance rating of 1 meter. This is a light with many unique and useful features that you wont find in most flash lights and is more portable than the SL-20X LED series. The rechargeable nickel-cadmium battery gives the SL-20XP LED next to non-existent operating costs. This model includes a 120-Volt AC charger, 12-Volt DC charger, two charger sleeves, and works with existing SL chargers. If you are tired of constantly replacing batteries and you want a light that will last you for years the Streamlight SL-20XP is the light for you.
